This man, who has been dubbed by local newspapers as China's 'worst driver', refused to be beaten.
He bumped into a neighbouring car 15 times during a 10 minute marathon before finally squeezing out of a fairly ample-sized spot.
The sped up CCTV footage shows the driver's repeated clumsy attempts and on a number of occasions, he even seems to have maneuvered the vehicle into a respectable position, before driving back into the space and starting all over again.
When free, the driver speeds off - but was soon tracked down by police, who confiscated his license pending further penalties.
The man had only had his driving license for two months according to the South China Morning Post.
