So much amore for Amal! Meredith Vieira was one among multiple show hosts to dress as George Clooney's new wife Amal Alamuddin on Halloween Friday, Oct. 31. Unlike Ellen DeGeneres' actual bridal costume, Vieira went as the civil service version of the London-based barrister on The Meredith Vieira Show. Good Morning America's Ali Wentworth also went as another version of Alamuddin.
Vieira, 60, rode out from a scenic faux backdrop of a Venetian waterway including the Grand Canal. The picturesque scene was interrupted by the presence of a gondola -- ridden by Vieira and a stuffed version of Clooney -- and massive amounts of fake fog.

For the occasion, Vieira dressed identically to Alamuddin when the lawyer said "I do" for the second time to Clooney in a civil ceremony in Venice. At the time, the fashionable bride wore a large floppy cream-colored hat and a white Stella McCartney pantsuit, while her husband looked handsome in a grey suit.
"Hello!" the American show host said in a British accent to her audience, while grasping the stuffed life-size Clooney doll. "George, my darling, my darling," she said. "My name is Amal, but you can call me 'Mrs. Clooney.' I bagged this boy that everybody wanted and I have the ring to prove it… Our wedding was in Venice and it was an incredible whirlwind."

The hilarious segment also took Vieira and stuffed Clooney to the famed Plaza Hotel in NYC, and adjacent Central Park, where the two posed for a caricature, which she dubbed "our wedding picture."
Vieira, though, wasn't the only celebrity to channel her best impression of Mrs. Clooney on Halloween. Ellen DeGeneres brought forth her "sexiest costume yet" on her self-titled talk show, wearing a replica of Alamuddin's Oscar de la Renta wedding gown and a wig mimicking the bride's brunette tresses.

DeGeneres paid the highest compliment to Alamuddin on Halloween, telling her audience: "Because what's sexier than a woman with a brain?"
