DAVE Hughes has all but confirmed he will be returning to radio to host the Kiis FM drive slot with Kate Langbroek.
While Langbroek tweeted that she had not signed anything as yet, Hughes was a little more willing to weigh in on the rumours.
“I can’t say much but something will be confirmed by the weekend,” he told news.com.au, “but sometimes you can believe what you read.
“I’m normally happy to shout things from the rooftops, but I’ve been told to wait a few days.”
By the way, I appreciate the best wishes for me and @DHughesy next year, but I have not signed to anybody to do any radio in 2015...

Hughes confirmed he was at ARN’s offices this morning after he was pictured leaving their Sydney headquarters and said he spent some time hanging out with Kyle Sandilands while there.

When asked why Langbroek had tweeted that she was yet to sign, he suggested: “Maybe someone might be at a beach house and not near a pen.”
Hughesy said, hypothetically speaking that he would be delighted to return to radio and would “appreciate” a national slot.
After doing 150 stand-up shows in 50 towns and cities across Australia, London, Edinburgh and Los Angeles, he’s well used to cracking up an Australia-wide audience.
Speaking to news.com.au to promote the DVD release of his Pointless tour, which is available in stores from Thursday, Hughesy said it was the perfect Christmas present to buy anyone who has “ever, ever, ever, found Dave Hughes funny”.

“It’s Hughesy in his natural element,” he said, “it’s me having a great time in a great venue, and I feel like I’m really funny and if you don't believe me watch the DVD and if you don’t like it then give it to a friend.”
“If anyone you know has said they like Dave Hughes, get them the f---ing DVD and that shows them you’ve at least put some thought into it.”
