COULD the man once known as the world’s most eligible bachelor soon become the world’s sexiest dad?
The answer is yes, if you believe Woman’s Day.
Just as the hysteria (and magazine sales) over Clooney’s marriage to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin calms down — the magazine reports the happy couple are planning to expand their family by adopting a child from a war-torn country such as Syria.
A ‘close source’ told the magazine the 53-year-old actor has put his film career on hold to focus on fatherhood.
“Over the past few years George has really hcnaged his outlook on kids after seeing Brad Pitt and Matt Damon find their greatest happiness in becoming fathers,” the source told the magazine.

“George feels there is something magical about adopting a child and giving him or her a better life. And as an international human rights lawyer Amal feels very strongly this is the way to go.”
But fans may want to hold off on buying booties and teddybears for the clucky couple just yet.
The same magazine also reported on July 7 that Clooney had been telling friends Amal was three months pregnant — meaning she would’ve been nearly full-term in October — the month the couple tied the knot in Venice.
If the adoption story turns out to be true, the Clooneys would follow in the footsteps of other high profile celebrities who have adopted children from overseas — including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Madonna and Australia’s own Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness, who are vocal international adoption campaigners.
