To commemorate the 1940s, the cosmetics firm has revealed this “modern interpretation of Marilyn Monroe” starring the Oscar-winning actress.
“Featuring the 40s statement lip and volumised lashes, it’s an interpretation of one of the most iconic looks of all time,” the company said in a statement.
Paltrow told Glamour UK that the experience was “really fun.”
“We all travelled to New York, and it was a very creative process of amazing hair and makeup people, and the team behind it was really such a specific thing we were doing, trying to recreate these iconic looks and so it was really fun. It was like playing characters, playing dress-up. It was really cool,” she said.
