The band treated the studio audience to two performances of their new song Steal My Girl
One Direction were forced to record their X Factor performance TWICE tonight - because Harry Styles apparently wore the wrong colour shirt.
The teen heartthrobs prerecorded a performance of their new song Steal My Girl before tonight's live show to air next Sunday.
An onlooker told Mirror TV: "He was wearing white and then they did it again 'cos he needed to be in black like the rest of the band."
The five-piece, also consisting of Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, reached the finals of the X Factor competition in 2010.
After they sang, Niall admitted to host Dermot O'Leary he was gutted that Jack Walton was voted out of the competition.
1D's performance will air next week along with a number from crooner Sam Smith.
An X Factor spokesperson has been reached for comment.
