This shocking 'social experiment' video shows what happened when two actors play out domestic violence in a lift.
Now a common setting for social experiments and prank videos due to the claustrophobic setting and inability to remove yourself from the situation, the lift is fitted with cameras which capture people's reactions to the actors.
Only one person out of the 53 included in the 'experiment' intervened, though it should be noted that many of those 53 were women who were alone in the lift and were witnessing a man appearing to harm a woman.
What is proven by the experiment is not really known.
Perhaps that people are incredibly intimidated by a man telling a woman "I will kill you, I will f***ing kill you."
In an another scene a male actor tells a female actor: "You are not worth anything, I hope you get that."
The video was filmed in Sweden by organisation STHLM Panda.
The Scandinavian country has a problem with domestic abuse.
A report from the European Agency for fundamental rights released earlier this year found that 81 per cent of women in the country said they had been harassed at some point after the age of 15.
The EU average if 55 per cent. in the country, compared to the EU average of 55.
This video is the latest in a growing trend of filmed social experiments.
One recent clip showed men's shocking attempts to take advantage of a woman who was pretending to be drunk and trying to find her way home.
And another showed a woman suffering repeated verbal harassment by salivating men during a 10 hour walk around New York City.
