The global superstars gave their thoughts on who could win the talent show
One Direction came back home performed new single Steal My Girl on The X Factor tonight - sort of - and tipped Ben Haenow to win the whole thing.
The superstar boyband took to the stage four years after being put together for the show before giving their thoughts on the talent contest.
After the performance, Dermot O'Leary spoke to the group and kindly pointed out that the boys know exactly what this year's contestants are going through.
Louis Tomlinson then tipped Ben to become this year's champion ahead of the likes of Stereo Kicks and Fleur East.
The teen heartthrobs prerecorded their rendition of Steal My Girl last week - but the band were forced to sing their new track twice because Harry Styles allegedly wore the wrong colour shirt.
An onlooker told Mirror TV: "He was wearing white and then they did it again 'cos he needed to be in black like the rest of the band.
One Direction, also consisting of Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, reached the finals of the X Factor competition in 2010.
During this series, the boys have made regular appearances on the X Factor set to support the latest batch of contestants.
Louis Tomlinson took wildcard Jack Walton under his wing before he was booted out of the competition last week, much to the boyband member's disgust.
The 22-year-old tweeted it was a "f****** joke" that Jack was sent home after Simon Cowell announced the surprise Saturday elimination.
And it seemed that Jack had more respect for the advice of his new pal than he did for his mentor Mel B.
"Louis really believed in me though, he wanted me to do my own style. That's what I wanted to do, and I should have stuck to that."
"I've got massive support from him, he's been a massive help throughout the competition telling me what I should sing. I wish I had listened to him a little bit more. He's been so involved. I trusted his judgement more than Mel B."
Meanwhile, Niall has been hanging out with eight-piece band Stereo Kicks, and has allegedly taken them under his wing.
He even took one member, Chris Leonard, to an Ed Sheeran gig and played him the new One Direction album.
A show source said: "Niall clicked with Chris last week and they talk a lot.
"Chris is taking his advice on board and hoping it gets them to the final stages."
