Katy Hopkins: My Fat Story is going to be on American television and that means Katie's got 450 million more people to enrage
Katie Hopkins' fat documentary My Fat Story has been picked up by an American television network.
Yes, that's right the Land of the Free will soon have the full Katie Hopkins experience when she makes her debut on US television with her TLC show.
The documentary - which sees the former Apprentice quitter gain and lose FOUR STONE to prove to the obese that it's 'not so hard to lose weight' - is slated the air in January on TLC UK.
The professional rent-a-gob confirmed the news and thanked the entire United States for buying her show, tweeting: "Dear America, thank you for buying My Fat Story.
"First program from UK TLC to make it across the Atlantic. Go go go go! Stand by chubsters."
Only her announcement wasn't exactly met with a slew of congratulations and positivity, instead there was a tidal wave of people expressing exactly how they felt - and it wasn't nice.
One tweeted: "They think it's a comedy."
Another added: "You're just so disgusting." While a third said: "You should f*** off to America with it."
But it wasn't all bad as it seems Katie is changing lives, with one fan tweeting: "Here Katie I'm a chubster but have no access to fancy channels like TLC, how can I watch your bound to be inspirational show?"
It is not clear whether the US Constitution's First Amendment protections would stand in the face of Katie Hopkins' more outrageous statements but it's clear that America really has no idea of what's about to hit it.
