CHANNEL 7 has unveiled its 2015 programming plans, and it looks like cooking shows are set to dominate our TV screens next year.
Blockbuster franchise My Kitchen Rules is back, along with judges Manu Feildel and (perhaps unexpectedly) Pete Evans. This hardly comes as a surprise, given MKR has so far been the top-rating show of the year. But Seven has confirmed an expanded 2015 series with more instant restaurant rounds than ever before and a “colourful array of new characters.” Fans of the show will know what that means — bulk drama.

Seven announced another multi-night reality show, Restaurant Revolution, which is built on the 2004 format My Restaurant Rules. They are calling it “the first truly interactive show where
viewers can actually dine in the restaurants televised.” The show’s premise is to give regular people the opportunity to road test their restaurant dream and make it a reality.
Seven’s Director of Network Production, Brad Lyons said: “Across the country, our contestants will be charged with locating, renovating and running their own restaurants.”

Seven also revealed My Ireland with Colin, which will follow MKR guest judge Colin Fassnidge on a motorcycle tour of his home country.
On top of this we’ll see My France with Manu make a return to our screens, following the French foodie as he travels down the Rhône Valley, from the French Alps to the Mediterranean Sea.
As for the rest of Seven’s reality TV movements for 2015, viewers will be treated to a double dose of reality renovation juggernaut House Rules, The X Factor will return for a sixth series and Dancing with the Stars will be back for its 15th series.
