RADIO’S worst kept secret is out — Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will make a permanent return to the drive timeslot in 2015 on FOX FM.
As Confidential predicted last week, the boys will replace Dan Debuf and Maz Compton, who will move to the troubled breakfast timeslot on 2 Day FM in Sydney from next year.
Blake and Lee’s show will be national and will start in July 2015.
The boys said they were ecstatic to be returning to drive after nearly five years away.
“We are so excited, we feel very lucky that we get to go back to doing something that we have always loved,’’ he said.

JULES LUNDS POKES FUN AT HIS DIRE RADIO SITUATION

The first half of the year their good mate, Jules Lund, will host the drive show
Lund is currently on air on 2 Day FM on breakfast alongside Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk.
The Sydney show has struggled since day one amid poor ratings and Mel B leaving the show.
It took another hit last week when Monk announced she planned to resign from the 2 Day FM.
After finishing in 2010 Blake and Lee signed a contract with Channel 9, and produced a number of shows under the Gap Year franchise.
The boys are now not contracted to any TV network.
