OSCAR-WINNING actress and UN ambassador Angelina Jolie may be adding another role to her CV - politician.
The 39-year-old hinted at the possible career change in an interview with Vanity Fair (she graces the December 2014 cover).
"When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered," she said. "Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility."
The Maleficent star became a UN Goodwill Ambassador in 2001, quickly rising to special envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
"I honestly don't know in what role I would be more useful," Jolie said. "I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that could make it less possible."

When directly asked if she sees herself pursuing politics, diplomacy or public service, she revealed, "I am open."
The mother-of-six, who's currently directing and starring in her self-written movie By the Sea, also opened up about her August wedding to Brad Pitt. The couple of nine years exchanged vows in a surprise ceremony in front of their children, friends and family.
"It does feel different," the Mr & Mrs Smith star said. "It feels nice to be husband and wife."
