CHRISTINE Anu has vowed to stop dieting and obsessing about her weight after admitting she’s gone from a size eight to 16.
The Aussie singer told New Idea that food had always been there for her “when I’m travelling or the family isn’t around.”
“I’m back up to a size 16, but I have no idea what I weigh at the moment,” she told the mag.

“I hate looking at those numbers on the scales. I won’t let them define how I feel that day.
“I’m a mature woman with two kids and I’m never going to look the way I did when I was a dancer in my teens and 20s. Now I’ve come to realise that as long as I stay healthy and active, it’s OK.”

At 44, Anu says she wants to encourage other women to lead a healthier lifestyle and avoid yoyo dieting the way she always has.
“Our bodies are wonderful but they change as we age. It’s no use trying to stay the same sha[pe you were in at 20! That’s the message I would like to share with other women,” she told the mag.
