If the slipper fits! Disney released its trailer for the live-action version of Cinderella, starring Lily James in the title role, on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The movie's release comes 65 years after Walt Disney Pictures released the original animated classic. The latest rendition of the beloved fairy tale was directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh and features a star-studded cast including Cate Blanchett as the very, very evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother, and Game of Thrones stud Richard Madden (who played the now-deceased Rob Stark on the show) as the dashing Prince Charming.

The two-minute, 40-second teaser begins with the younger version of Ella being told to "have courage and be kind" by her mother. A redheaded evil stepmother (Blanchett) and her two daughters later enter the sequence and are seen taunting Cinderella, admonishing her for attempting to attend the ball.

In between, Cinderella encounters Prince Charming on horseback, along with her fairy godmother who beautifully turns a pumpkin into a golden carriage. The overriding message of the modern redo remains consistent with the original Disney animated classic: "Where there is kindness, there is goodness, and where is goodness, there is magic."

The main poster of the film, which shows Cinderella in her stunning blue gown, was shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Cinderella hits theaters on Mar. 13, 2015. Watch the trailer above!
