The first trailer for Furious 7 was released on Saturday, Nov. 1, showcasing some of the last exhilarating acting scenes Paul Walker filmed before his tragic death in November 2013. In the fast-pace two-minute clip, Walker's Brian O'Conner jumps to new heights in action-packed car chases alongside his on and offscreen family.
"Just when you didn't think it could get any better," Walker says. The footage features some of the late actor's most impressive stunt work as his character O'Conner prepares to go to battle with Ian Shaw. (Jason Statham). "One last ride," Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto says to his longtime buddy.
Walker passed away at the age of 40 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. Production on the film was put on indefinite hold, and Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody later joined the cast in April to help complete the film.
Other stars reprising their roles include Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Elsa Pataky. The vets are joined by newcomers Kurt Russell and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
Furious 7, the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, hits theaters on April 3, 2015.
