The actor was on-set of his new movie with the Crazy, Stupid Love teen actress as they shot scenes for Zeroville
Bald James Franco was spotted holding hands with his 15-year-old co-star Joey King on the set of their new movie Zeroville.
The 36-year-old actor is directing the new film, which also stars Megan Fox and his brother Dave Franco.
The 127 Hours actor held onto the teen’s hands as they shot the scenes in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday (November 9).
King, who starred in Ryan Gosling’s 2011 hit Crazy, Stupid, Love, wore a studded black jacket and was rocking a similar punk style to her older co-star’s.
The 15-year-old is playing the role of Zazi in the movie inspired by Steve Erickson's critically acclaimed novel of the same name, Zeroville.
Franco, who has shaved his whole head for the new movie, was also rocking a large tattoo on the back of his scalp.
Classy.
In April, Franco confessed that he was “embarrassed” after getting caught out messaging a Scottish teenager online.
The actor’s cringe-worthy chat-up lines were leaked following a message exchange with then-17-year-old Lucy Clode on Instagram.
After being left red-faced over the incident, he said: "I'm embarrassed and I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky."
Appearing to disprove rumours it was a publicity stunt or April Fools joke, he continued: "It's the way that people meet each other today.
"But what I've learned, I guess because I'm new to it, is you don't know who's on the other end."
"You get a feel for them, you don't know who you're talking to. I used bad judgement and I learned my lesson.
"Unfortunately in my position, not only do I have to go through the embarrassing rituals of meeting someone, but if I do that, then it gets published for the world so it's doubly embarrassing," he said.
Blonde teenager Lucy Clode ran into the star in New York on a birthday trip with her mother, before posting a short video of their encounter.
