Mindy Kaling has very little filter. The hilarious star, 35, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and voiced her opinions on everything from Vince Vaughn to Rihanna to the time she was mistaken for Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.
The Mindy Project star started things off on a unique note, joining host Jimmy Kimmel with her cell phone still in her hand. She placed it next to her on the chair, making little effort to hide the device.
Kimmel, 47, called her out on the move, asking why she brought her phone out for the interview.

"Vince Vaughn was here, and I've had a huge crush on Vince Vaughn for such a long time," Kaling admitted without pause. "As he was trying to leave, I ambushed him and got a photo with him."
"Check it out!" she exclaimed, handing her phone to Kimmel to show off the shot with her crush. "He is so hot… that guy is so tall. He's like a redwood… he is a redwood that I want to bang a little bit… the Vince Vaughn National Park is a park I would like to go to."
Kaling soon switched gears, bringing up Rihanna, and how much admiration she holds for the pop star.
"One of the reasons I wanted to come here is that I heard that you are co-hosting Rihanna's charity ball…" the writer said. "I guess I just thought, 'Wow, that's really an incredible honor.' I'm a huge Rihanna fan, and I just thought, why did they ask you and not me?"
She proceeded to interrogate the host about her idol, asking, "Do you know any Rihanna songs?… I was just so nervous cause I think, you don't know… Do you follow her on Instagram?"
"She parties," Kaling told Kimmel of Rihanna. "I just want to prepare you cause after the event, you might end up in da cool afterparty, in like a thong on a beach."
Kaling recently found herself at a similar such affair, but some partygoers were confused about who the actress was.
"I was recently in New York City, at kind of a clubby, New York City party at the Boom Boom Room," Kaling began, setting the scene. "Just so people know, that's the club where Jay Z and Solange Knowles got into the fight in the elevator. So like, stuff happens there. I was very excited to be invited to this party."
"I was looking around, I was like, 'Oh this is going to be fun,'" she continued. "Alcohol was flowing, I looked hot… as I always do at these events. This kind of like, elderly man came over to me, and was like, 'Oh my god! I'm such a big fan!' I was like, 'Oh, thank you!' And he's like, 'Malala, you're so amazing.' He thought I was the 17-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala."
"It was so interesting to me from so many different ways," Kaling added. "On one, I thought, it's a little racial that he thought I was [her], but then it's like, she won a Nobel Prize! I'll take that. I do pretty well but that's like, way better. She's 17, I'm twice her age. So it was pretty good."
As far as Kaling's party friend is concerned, he met Malala that night. "I did not tell him [it wasn't me]," she deadpanned.?
