The I See Fire singer has revealed that Chris Martin is also included
Ed Sheeran confirmed that Band Aid 30 is happening.
His involvement came around thanks to Coldplay's Chris Martin, who is also taking part and roped Ed in too.
The Thinking Out Louder singer revealed: "Chris came and sat with me at my O2 gig before Bob rang up. I was already on board before I was on board.
"Geldof knows everyone! I still haven't met him but he managed to get my number."
Other stars on the song include One Direction.
Another big name signed up to Bob Geldof's Band Aid 30 is songbird Emeli Sande.
The star tells 3am: "Yes, I'll be taking part in it. I'm really excited."
Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sande were at the MTV European Music Awards, which was hosted in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro Arena.
Nicki Minaj is hosting the awards tonight, which sees One Direction, Kanye West, 5 Seconds of Summer and the Arctic Monkeys and more all nominated for gongs.
