Happy Halloween from Gotham City!!
Gotham's crime fighters and criminals have arrived! Neil Patrick Harris has revealed his family's Halloween costumes -- and this year's may be the best one yet! The How I Met Your Mother alum, husband David Burtka, and their 4-year-old twins Gideon and Harper went as DC Comics characters from Gotham City!

"Happy Halloween from Gotham City!!" Harris, 41, captioned the impressive Instagram photo. The upcoming Oscars host dressed head to toe as Jim Carrey's The Riddler from the 1995 film Batman Forever. Burtka took on The Joker, while Gideon looked tough in a Batman suit. Harper struck an adorable pose as Gideon's sidekick Batgirl.

NPH bonded with his family -- and famous friends -- while wearing the iconic costumes. "No question. This year's Halloween with @KellyRipa & @MarkConsuelos & @DavidBurtka was the best ever! #sothankful," he tweeted after trick or treating. Burtka also posted a sweet photo of their "happy kids" marveling over all the candy they got.

Dressing up in themed Halloween costumes has been a tradition for Harris and his adorable family over the years. They've previously coordinated as characters from Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Frankenstein.
