Pregnant Kate Middleton honored her veterans on Remembrance Sunday, Nov. 9, bundling up her teensy baby bump in head-to-toe black before stepping out for the day's annual memorial events in London.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 32, donned the Alexander McQueen Flared Wool Coat, a structured Jane Corbett hat, and a red poppy pin (a gift from a woman named Anna Smith, the wife of a solider) for the memorial, held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall. Prince George's mum also added her dangling sapphire and diamond earrings and her silver "Empress" necklace by Mappin & Webb.

Duchess Catherine was joined by her husband, Prince William's, step-mother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and his cousin, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, for two minutes of silence and a laying of poppy wreaths led by Queen Elizabeth II.
Middleton's Remembrance Day appearance marked one of the princess' first public events since announcing her second pregnancy. Shortly after the announcement, Middleton was bedridden for over a month due to severe morning sickness.

But thankfully, the Duchess has improved—so much so that she and her husband, along with their son, George, 14 months, were able to take a quick babymoon getaway to Scotland at the end of October.

"William wanted to take Kate away for a break after her [rough past couple of months]," a source told Us Weekly. "They both love the outdoors and the weather isn't too cold yet, so it's the perfect time to take a trip."
