Guess who’s coming to dinner? Real Housewives of Atlanta’s third season 7 episode introduced its fair share of Georgia peaches, old and new. We finally get acquainted with Claudia Jordan, the latest cast addition to shake up the scene -- but some favorite familiar faces, like NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks, still have story lines that command our attention. Claudia better bring it!
1) New word alert!
Phaedra Parks, who’s been in hiding since husband Apollo Nida’s trial, ventures out and meets Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss for lunch where wine is sipped and, naturally, tea is spilled. Kandi fills the girls in on Cynthia’s Bar One party where plenty of drama ensued. But that’s to be expected. Kandi tells Phaedra that Apollo had a shocking conversation about oral sex with Phaedra’s favorite person ever: Kenya Moore.
“She did not offer to give him head...he said he lied about the whole situation,” Kandi reveals to Phaedra, who’s rightfully disgusted.

“I was eight months pregnant at the time,” she tells the girls. “Why would you even put me through that stress, physically?”
Phaedra says that she owes Kenya an apology -- something that all the Housewives and husbands agreed on last episode. Someone who’ll probably be getting a different kind of conversation? Apollo.
“This is beyond f---ery…this is f---ation.” Phaedra said. Yes ma’am…that about sums it up.
2) Meet Claudia
Claudia Jordan is no stranger to the spotlight. Her long résumé includes stints on The Celebrity Apprentice, Deal or No Deal, and The Price is Right. “That show made me huge in the old folks home, and in the prisons,” she brags. The former Miss USA contestant and “loveable asshole,” who recently scored a gig on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, will certainly be one to watch this season.
“I want my bedroom to be really sexy,” she tells fellow beauty queen and pal of ten years Kenya as they browse furniture for Claudia’s new home. Though she works mornings, she has “the weekends off!”
Claudia, who’s a divorcee, has a grand plan to “conquer Atlanta” -- and that includes finding a nice Southern gentleman, because she’s sifted through her fair share of scrubs. “If a guy is good looking, crazy and an asshole, I’ve dated him,” she says. It takes a crazy person to know another, though…Claudia tells a TMI-tale about a temporary crown coming out during sex (“[I just] put it on the nightstand,” she says).
As luck would have it, Kenya admits that the fairytale ended with her unnamed “African prince” -- who no one’s ever seen -- so they can prowl for men as a pair. Let the games begin!
3) NeNe’s back!
She couldn’t stay away for too long! NeNe Leakes is finally back from Vegas after crushing Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity.
“You can’t leave Atlanta for 10 minutes without a whole bunch of drama going on,” Demoted Housewife Porsha tells NeNe who comes to her house for an afternoon of gossip. Porsha mentions that Phaedra reveals she owes Kenya an apology.
“For what?!” NeNe replies. ”You and him jumped in the swimming pool together in Anguilla. You said ‘Apollo is fine.’ Now [Phaedra] needs to be like, ‘I’m sorry?’ Oh no, bitch!”

And they also discuss their own Public Enemy Number One: Cynthia Bailey, and her tendency to take sides.
“That’s the whole problem with Cynthia…you want to keep riding the fence. Speak up!” she says. “I’m disappointed because I thought we were friends…I missed Cynthia in the beginning, but now...I’m out. Toodles!”
Porsha wants to give her a chance, though. “I will reach out and try to figure out what’s going on, because that’s what grown women do. And at the end of the day, I’m a grown-ass woman.” She can do whatever she wants!
4) Family feuds
Everyone’s got ‘em. Kandi and hubby Todd Tucker discuss having a baby in between baby-making sessions (complete with some Bedroom Kandi!). He’s not too thrilled about the prospect of being a new dad as his job requires him to travel a lot. “I don’t want you coming at me later like ‘You ain’t never here…,’” he says.
Kandi’s disappointed, but she saves face to make room for Todd’s daughter, Kaela, who’s moving in with them. Kaela arrives and everyone’s happy -- except for Kandi’s daughter, Riley. Riley, who’s usually soft-spoken, makes it known that she wants to be the only princess in the castle. During a negotiation about curfews and allowances (Riley tried to bargain for $100 a week!), Kaela mentions that she can’t wait until Riley turns 18 to understand #thestruggle.
“Well, I’d be in college,” Riley retorts. Oh no…she’s a mini Mama Joyce.
Recently sentenced to eight years of prison, Apollo, who’s been sleeping on the couch at home, visits an attorney on his side of town.
“Phaedra’s a very smart woman. She’s very calculating,” Apollo says. “I pretty much figure that she’s going to get a divorce while I’m in prison.”
He’s hesitant to file because of their two boys -- “I don’t want that to be a selfish move,” he admits -- but Phaedra’s poised to handle things as a single mother.
“I don’t ever want my sons to think at any time that going to prison is acceptable,” she says in her confessional. “If taking them to a prison is going to traumatize them, I won’t be doing it.”

5) Porsha and Cynthia’s shady spat
She had it comin’. Porsha isn’t too thrilled that Cynthia excluded her from last week’s Bar One party, so Porsha invites Cynthia to lunch after a week of respective mudslinging, name calling and shade throwing.
"She started out as little NeNe and now she's baby Kenya," Porsha said of Cynthia earlier that week, while Cynthia graciously agreed to let Porsha move into the “penthouse suite up NeNe’s ass” that she occupied. Nothing but kind words, right?
True to her promise, Porsha arrives to the lunch she mentioned to NeNe (clad in a “cheap blue jumpsuit,” per Cynthia) -- but she was an hour late. Cynthia, who’s generally known for keeping her composure on the show, immediately dug into Porsha.
As previously discussed, Porsha’s issue with Cynthia stems from Cynthia’s tendency to straddle the fence…specifically about the nasty season 6 reunion brawl. Apparently, she’s taken both sides at different times.
“The fact that you felt both ways…I was flabbergasted,” Porsha says.
When Porsha confronted Cynthia about her comments on a particularly defamatory blog post, she didn’t deny it at all. “If you don’t want me to come for you, do not come for me,” she responds.
Porsha, who’d -- let’s be real -- had done her fair share of trash talking, could barely get a word in edgewise. Cynthia said it all -- including the fact that Porsha looks and sounds like NeNe “with longer hair and a longer chin” just before leaving her at the table. Well…all’s well that ends well, I guess?
