"CYRUS!!! LET ME IN!!" #DayAtTheWhiteHouse
Step aside, Kerry Washington; there's a new gladiator in town! Rihanna slipped on the white hat on Monday, Nov. 10, when she paid homage to ABC's addictive D.C. drama Scandal at the White House.
The "What Now" singer, 26, was in the nation's capital for a meeting with administration officials and got a bit of a VIP tour. An official told political blog The Hill that the Barbados native spoke to staff members "regarding a few issues that are critical to our agenda for expanding opportunity, including the My Brother's Keeper initiative."
When she wasn't discussing the initiative, which bills itself as an effort "to help more young men of color facing especially tough odds to stay on track and reach their full potential," the pop star found time to get a little scandalous.
"Fitz, darling..."

Rihanna took to her recently revived Instagram account, posting photos of herself outside and inside the White House, where she posed as Washington's Scandal character Olivia Pope.
In two shots, the singer stands at a phone outside of the gates, posing in a gorgeous printed dress.
"'CYRUS!!! LET ME IN!!' #DayAtTheWhiteHouse," she captioned one image where she is giving an intense look, referencing the Scandal character Cyrus Beene (played by Jeff Perry). The second nodded to Olivia's love interest, President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn), with a caption reading, "'Fitz, darling…'"

Finally, the singer and a group of friends stood for a photo in a formal room surrounded by books. "West Wing Posse!! We wanna be O.P.A. so bad!!!," she captioned the shot, referencing Olivia Pope & Associates. "#DayAtTheWhiteHouse."
Ms. Pope herself took notice of the photos, as Washington tweeted at Rihanna. "True #gladiators," the actress, 37, wrote of the group shot. She also brought the images to Goldwyn's attention, writing with a smiley face, "Hey @tonygoldwyn FYI. #scandal."
