FORMER Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler has been left devastated after the shock death of her brother, just over a year since her TV dad, James Gandolfini also died unexpectedly.
The New York Post reports that Sigler’s eldest brother Adam Sigler died after a sudden brain haemorrhage.
Adam — a treasury operations specialist at Fidelity Investments in New Jersey — passed away on Wednesday after suffering from a brain aneurism last Friday at his home on the Upper East Side.
Adam, 41, who grew up in Jericho, Long Island, was the oldest of the three Sigler children, including middle brother Brian. He was engaged to real estate broker Danielle Piro, whom he’d been with for six years.
Sigler released a statement, saying “words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by this sudden loss.”
“Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected during this time,” she said.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler starred as Meadow Soprano from 1999-2007 and has since had roles in Entourage, Ugly Betty and Guys With Kids.
In June last year she was grief-stricken by the death of James Gandolfini, who played her father Tony Soprano in the hit series.

A family friend said that Adam Sigler would “light up a room, make everyone laugh and was always in for a good time,” and that he and Jamie, 33, had always been very close and he’d always been very supportive of her acting career.
The friend added that Adam was an “incredible uncle and was loved by all his nieces and nephews. There was no one sweeter, kinder and more full of energy and spirit. There will be a hole in all our lives forever. Anyone who had the chance to be around Adam should be considered lucky.”

We’re told that Adam’s death was sudden and he had shown no previous signs of health problems. He was found at home by his fiancee after suffering the haemorrhage.
The friend added that the whole Sigler family was with Adam during his coma and at his bedside when he passed. A private family funeral will be held Sunday on Long Island.

Jamie-Lynn, who is engaged to Cutter Dykstra, with whom she has a 1-year-old son, Beau Kyle, reportedly changed her private Facebook photo to a picture of herself and Adam earlier this week.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Jamie,” one commenter wrote, according to Us Weekly.

Another friend added: “Holding you and your family close to my heart. Adam will always be a part of you.”
