THE Block’s Jenna and Chris Susetio have announced they are expecting their first child.
After the massive surprise of winning $310,000 during the auction of their Glasshouse apartment, the pair have revealed even more happy news.
The Blockheads told Woman’s Day they were forced to keep Jenna’s pregnancy a secret on the night of the finale.
“We kind of wanted to announce it on the night because this year’s auction was really sad,” Chris, 25, told the mag.
“We had a few opportunities but it was still really early and Jen hadn’t reached the 12-week mark so we didn’t want to risk it.

“The hardest day for me was during the Block’s open inspections. I knew I was pregnant but I couldn’t say anything, and by the end of it I was so drained.”
The pair said they told the other contestants once the cameras stopped rolling and they were “stoked”.
Jenna, 27, said she found out she was pregnant after taking a pregnancy test on Father’s Day in early September.

“I walked over to Chris holding the test in my hand and I was like ‘Happy Father’s Day, you’re going to be a dad!’”
Jenna is now 14 weeks along, is feeling well and says she hasn’t experienced any morning sickness.
The pair had long spoken of their desire to start a family, which they put on hold once they were accepted to go on The Block.
“It was a chance to set us up financially in life, so we put off having kids... now it’s perfect timing that Jen’s fallen pregnant.”
