Step aside, Allison Williams! NBC’s highly anticipated holiday production of Peter Pan Live will hit small screens everywhere on Thursday, Dec. 4, but a new Funny or Die clip shows that fans could have gotten a very different viewing experience.
The two-minute video shows 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski “auditioning” to play the role of Peter. She starts off the performance by placing her Tony Award (which she won for her role in 2003’s Nine) on the table before breaking into a series of ridiculous antics.
“Do Peter and Wendy ever get together and would that make Peter straight or a lesbian? Because I’m cool with whatever,” she jokes.
Wearing a short, choppy wig and velvet green dress with matching tights, Krakowski, 46, sings, dances, and leaps off a chair.
“Question, is Peter addicted to pixie dust? I think he might be,” she continues, proceeding to play the beloved storybook character as if he is a drug addict.
Watch the rest of the clip to see her funniest moments and her sing the title song from “Cabaret”… just because.
