Smitten Liam Gallagher has introduced girlfriend Debbie Gwyther to his beloved mum for the first time.
The lovebirds visited Peggy in Manchester over the weekend.
A friend said: “The fact Debbie has met the other woman in his life – his mum – shows how serious he is about her.”
The pal said Debbie 31, who works on Liam’s management team, had helped the ex-Oasis star during a “tough 12 months”.
Dad-of-four Liam, 42, has dealt with his divorce from second wife Nicole Appleton, the love child he fathered with an American journalist and the break-up of band Beady Eye.
His friend said: “Through everything Debbie has been his rock and he is totally in love with her.
"Liam hasn’t been working and has a lot on his mind, but Debbie has been helping him deal with it all.
“They’re both looking forward to 2015, it will be a fresh start.”
Liam’s brother Noel, 47, who visited Peggy separately last week, has also chipped in with some New Year careers advice.
He told Q magazine: “I think Liam should make a solo record – put his b***s on the line and his name up in lights.”
