Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi needed a little liquid courage for her wedding this past weekend. The Jersey Shore alum, 27, exchanged vows with Jionni LaValle on Saturday, Nov. 29, and admitted in her Naturally Nicole podcast that she turned to a familiar poison to get her through the big day.

"I had the worst jitters," she said in the audio show on Tuesday, Dec. 2. "I was nervous, I had to have a little vodka. I was like, 'Where's my vodka? I need my nerves to calm down.'"

After she got over her nerves, Snooki said the wedding day was a big success. "It was honestly the best day of my life," she gushed. "I kind of want to renew my vows next year just so I can have a wedding again and relive that experience because it was so amazing."

"When you get married everyone is like, 'It goes by so quick, make sure you take a step back and take it all in. Take mental pictures because it's gonna be done before you know it,'" the reality star explained. "I'm like, 'Yeah right,' because my wedding was eight hours long. So I'm like, 'There is no way its going to go by that quick.' But it did go by that quick because now I'm looking back at it and I'm like, 'Holy crap!' In the snap of a finger, my wedding was over. It's crazy."

The mother to son Lorenzo, 2, and daughter Giovanna, 2 months, wed Lavalle, 27, in front of friends and family in a Great Gatsby-themed wedding at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ.

"My guests are all amazing, all my friends are amazing, my bridal party was amazing, my dresses were amazing, my reception at the Venetian — they were amazing, the food was amazing," the new Mrs. LaValle continued. "The whole experience was just so unreal."

Snooki, who added that the cameras were there to capture wedding footage to air on Snooki and JWoww, went all out for the big day, wearing two dresses and throwing an all-night party.

"My first dress was for the church, so it was very traditional," she spilled. "I went with the Eve of Milady dress, which was gorgeous. It was princessy and it was beautiful. Big veil, the dress was pouffy, it was just everything I pictured myself to wear on my wedding day."

She went more daring for the reception, opting for a gown with a removable skirt.

"The reception part is where you just have fun," Polizzi said. "You celebrate the love, you party, you go crazy, you go nuts. With that dress, I wanted to definitely be more fun, more flirty, and just more of a party dress. I went with an Ines Di Santo dress, which was amazing because it totally fit my theme of Gatsby, and, the cool part was, the skirt came off!"

Snooki made a third outfit change later in the night, throwing on a Jersey Shore-approved tracksuit and Uggs for the afterparty. She added that the party got more casual as she dined on cheeseburgers and french fries. Polizzi's eight-hour celebration came full circle when she topped off the evening by taking shots of vodka at the party.

"I probably cried like 20 times," she added. "Holy crap, I'm married! I am a wife."
