Casualty star reveals who she thinks will win the competition as she tells of her playful friendship with dancer Brendan Cole
Casualty star Sunetra Sarka says she is relieved to have her life back after being voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
After a difficult Rhumba with partner Brendan Cole, Sunetra , 42 was voted off.
But she says she's proud of how far she got and is glad to be able to finally have a rest.
Sunetra said: "I'm in a little bit of a bubble, I'm still on a high and people say I look so happy to be leaving. But I'm not happy to be voted off just proud I got to the stage I did.
"And It's nice that I don't have constantly check my emails to see where I'm dancing next."
Casualty's Dr Zoe Hanna revealed she broke her toe in week toe but soldiered on.
She said: "In practice I stepped on Brendan's toe causing him to step on mine and I ended up with the same injury as David Beckham.
"My toe really did Bend It Like Beckham!"
She said everyone who looked at her toe said she needed to rest it but she strapped it up and carried on like a trooper.
The mum-of-one said the support from fans helped her confidence to grow despite being up against younger contestants whose jobs see them dancing - like Pixie Lott.
Sunetra said: "When I came on the show I was a 5 out of 10, whereas someone like Pixie was maybe an 8 or a 9 so I had much further to go to get myself to what, in my head, was a 10."
She laughed off rumours that dancer Anton du Beke had slated partner Judy Murray and that Brendan had complained about her dancing saying they were among the closest couples on the show.
She said: "Brendan and I are pranksters. We tease each other all day long. I know how to handle myself.
"As a teacher he was very kind to me and because we both have children he knew we didn't have as much time to train as other couples."
The actress has balanced Strictly with a reduced schedule in Casualty but said she even found herself picking up a mannequin on set to practice her moves.
Now she is out of the competition she reckons Mark Wright is in with a chance of winning but said she really wanted one of the girls to win.
She said: "I'm a girl's girl. There was such camaraderie between us all - and we all know how to take the p*** out of ourselves."
