April 4 never seemed so far away.
That's how long viewers will have to wait for the much-anticipated return of Outlander.
The Starz hit, based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, left fans with bated breath at the cliffhanger finale of the first half of its freshman season. The series follows time-traveling, 20th century nurse Claire (Caitriona Balfe) as she navigates 18th century Scotland with the help of the hunky Jamie (Sam Heughan).
Thankfully, on Dec. 1, viewers met some relief with a teaser trailer of the return. Not-so-spoiler alert: There's much danger and uncertainty ahead for the lovebirds.
