Chris Brown Channels a Samurai, Follows Karrueche Tran in "Autumn Leaves" Music Video

Jan 25, 2015

Chris Brown is ready to fight for Karrueche Tran — literally, it seems. In his new music video for "Autumn Leaves," which debuted on YouTube on Thursday, Jan. 22, the "Ayo" singer channels a samurai warrior in love with a woman played by his real-life on-and-off girlfriend.

The four-and-a-half-minute clip shows Breezy, 25, quietly following Tran around while decked out in head-to-toe black with samurai swords strapped to his back. She, in turn, wears a sexy red gown with gold jewelry and her hair in two buns at the back of her head.

The two remain separate for most of the video, never interacting until the last 45 seconds or so, when they reunite by the ocean for a romantic rendezvous.

The song — from Brown's 2014 album X — also features a verse from rapper Kendrick Lamar, though Lamar does not appear in the video. Instead, bikini-clad models writhe around on the sand while Brown stands in ankle-deep water and mouths the words.

Tran, 26, tweeted about the video's premiere on Thursday evening, sharing a couple of stills from the shoot on Instagram. "Check out @chrisbrownofficial's new video 'Autumn Leaves' guest starring yours truly," she wrote. "Enjoy! It's wonderful."
