Felicitaciones! Miss Colombia Paulina Vega won big on Sunday, Jan. 25, when she was crowned the new Miss Universe.
The 22-year-old from the city of Barranquilla beat out her international competitors to take home the title, much to the delight of her fellow Colombian celebrities.

Colombia native Sofia Vergara, who is also from Barranquilla, took to her various social media accounts to celebrate Vega's win amidst her own evening out at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles. The Modern Family star, 42, shared a photo of the brunette beauty with her Miss Universe sash and crown, captioning the shot, "Barranquilla!!!!! Miss Universe!!!!"

Project Runway judge and Marie Claire Creative Director Nina Garcia — another Barranquilla native — expressed her excitement about Vega's achievement after she helped to judge the competition.

Colombian actor Manolo Cardona (Covert Affairs), who is from the city Popayán, tweeted his congratulations in Spanish, in a message that translates to "Congratulations to Paulina Vega, the Colombian woman is the new Miss Universe, who will kick off the Barranquilla Carnival. Bravo!"
