RHOA's Apollo Nida Ambushes Phaedra Parks, Accuses Her of Cheating Instead of Reporting to Prison

Feb 10, 2015

Forgetting something?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Apollo Nida comes home to terrorize estranged wife Phaedra Parks — the same day that he was scheduled to begin his eight-year prison sentence. In this clip exclusive to Us Weekly, Phaedra consults with a garage door repairman to lock Apollo (who wasn’t sleeping at home regularly to begin with!) out for good.

“There’s another [fob] that Apollo had, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get it back,” 43-year-old Phaedra explains. “What I essentially want is the codes cleared out.”

The 36-year-old trainer then pulls up to their home, demanding an explanation.

“Why would you lock me out my own house?” Apollo asks. “That means I don’t have access to my own garage!”

“You’re supposed to be reporting to prison today,” Phaedra reminds him.

As Apollo stalks around the house, yelling and slamming doors, a friend of Phaedra's asks if they should call the police. Maintaining remarkable composure, Phaedra says no.

Apollo returns to the garage and asks Phaedra to make sure that his clean clothes are put away. When Phaedra says that she doesn’t know what he’s talking about, he flips the script — and accuses her of infidelity.

“Oh, your boyfriend has clothes in here?” Apollo snaps.

The couple, who wed in 2009, had been on the outs for quite some time. In the Feb. 8 episode, Phaedra expressed concern that Apollo was going to harm himself — and their two small children who, thankfully, weren’t home during Apollo’s tirade. Phaedra’s rep told Us that she planned to file for divorce last October.

“A mind is a terrible thing to waste,” Phaedra laments in her confessional. “And his definitely went out the window.”
