The former EastEnders star admitted she was homeless and broke as she was pictured at the Jobcentre a few months ago
Former soap star Danniella Westbrook has taken a job as a barmaid in a North London pub after admitting she was broke and homeless over Christmas.
The star was pictured at The Bill Nicholson pub near Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane Ground this week, shortly after Spurs' 2-2 draw.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Danniella has only just started here. You only regularly see her when Spurs are playing at home.
"She's friendly to the punters but it's a fall from grace from what she was in the past. It's a typical lads' football pub."
The star was pictured in her uniform recently, with The Bill Nick, Tottenham emblazoned across her chest.
Making no secret of her new job, Danniella wrote on Twitter a few days ago: "Spurs v Chelsea @thebillynicn17 were open come down #everywhereWeGo."
She also wrote that the locals are "the nicest bunch ever" and they're always "respectful" of her despite her being a "West Ham girl".
Now the star has made it clear it's just part-time, and wrote on Twitter today: "I work @thebillynicn17 on match days to help my best friend who in turn is helping me get out the house & feel useful.I'm grateful #WhiCares."
It's no doubt a relief for the reformed drug addict star all the same, after she revealed she was homeless and broke in December, even being pictured outside the Jobcentre as she struggled to make ends meet.
It comes after Danniella made a complaint to police allegedly involving her ex-boyfriend following a visit to see her doctor.
The 41-year-old ex-EastEnders actress appeared to have a black eye after claims of a bust-up with Tom Richards.
Danniella, wearing a NY Yankees baseball cap, chewed her lip and looked anguished as she left her GP’s surgery, as the Sunday People's exclusive pictures show.
Later she went to her local police station where she filed a report of the incident which allegedly led to her getting a bruised face.
We have contacted Danniella's reps for comment.
