From the halls of West Beverly Hills High School to the streets of Los Angeles! AnnaLynne McCord has found herself a bright future after her days on 90210.
The actress, 27, dished to Us Weekly exclusively about what's ahead for her after her star-making turn in The CW series, which aired its last episode in May 2013.
"I'm really excited to be coming up on Stalker," McCord told Us. It was announced last month that she booked a guest-starring role on the new CBS drama, which made its debut earlier this month. "The idea of working with Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q was awesome, because they're lovely. It read like a thriller and it's on network television, I'm like, 'This is amazing!' I love seeing this kind of content coming to network TV."

Returning to television after the cancellation of TNT's Dallas this month, McCord will play a victim of stalking in the L.A.-based crime show.
"I'm actually kind of playing… I'm not playing myself, but I'm playing an actress and she was on a CW-like show, so there's an ironic kind of thing to do with that," the 90210 star said of her role on Stalker.
McCord's latest gig will continue her eight-year television career, which began when she was a teenager holding a small part in a 2006 episode of The O.C.

"I decided that I wanted to become an actress when I was 9 years old," she told Us. "That was directly after I was going to either be a math tutor or an archaeologist. I do admit that in scenes on [90210], when I was doing math class, I would actually do the problems. I just like numbers, I'm a nerd."
Now that McCord has achieved her childhood dreams, she gets motivation from all around her, and hopes to supplement her acting roles with directing work.
"I've been driven by a lot of things in my life as far as success is concerned," McCord explained. "Initially, the drive was the feeling that there was a lot of people against me that [said] 'You can't do this for different reasons' or just that I was from a trailer park and knew nobody. Success at this point has become about being the most excellent human being I can be. That means that I'm happy doing what I'm doing, that I'm inspired and inspiring the people around me, and that when I go to bed at night, I get a good night's rest."
