HOUSE of Cards actor Elizabeth Norment has died at the age of 61.
Norment played Frank Underwood’s (played by Kevin Spacey) executive secretary Nancy Kaufberger on the Netflix series.
The veteran actor’ sister Kate told The Hollywood Reporter that Norment died on October 13 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC.
Further details surrounding her death are not yet known.

“Everyone at House of Cards is deeply saddened by Elizabeth’s passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul and a good friend to us all,” series showrunner Beau Willimon told THR in a statement.

Kevin Spacey tweeted his condolences.

— Kevin Spacey (@KevinSpacey) October 28, 2014 Norment’s acting career spanned over three decades, playing Judge Arlene Brewer on three episodes of Law & Order and appearing on shows such as St. Elsewhere, Party of Five, ER, Mad About You and Blue Bloods.
She also had small roles in the films The Woman in Red (1984), Runaway (1984) and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997).
