THE woman who controversially won The Bachelor’s heart after his failed quickie engagement will pack her bags and move to the other side of the country to be with her man.
Blake Garvey and his new squeeze Louise Pillidge appeared on Channel Seven’s Sunrise this morning to discuss the storm that has surrounded their relationship.

And it seems the pair is keen to move on with their lives.
“It’s been such a whirlwind, it’s been a roller coaster of emotions but we’ve got each other, we’ve got my family, we’ve got his family and beautiful support out there,” Pillidge, 26, said.

“If we can get through this, we can get through anything. It’s testing us at the start and making us a stronger unit.”

Pillidge also announced she will help bridge the geographic divide between them by shortly relocating from Brisbane to Perth.
“I’m moving all the way over and I’m very excited. I’ve packed my car. I’m willing to make (that commitment).”

Garvey, 31, revealed he offered to move to the Queensland capital, but Pillidge insisted it was “time for a change” of scenery.

She plans to continue working in events and exploring other passions, such as baking and cooking. Garvey is a real estate auctioneer in Perth.
Although Pillidge made clear that any talk of a proposal of their owns is “not on the table at the moment”.

Sunrise host Samantha Armytage pushed Garvey on elements of The Bachelor’s shock ending, including him popping the question to winner Sam Frost.

The day after the finale episode aired, it was revealed that he had called things off with her and rumours began to swirl he was seeing another of the finalists.

“At the time, I felt like I definitely wanted to propose — I was in that moment absolutely. It’s as if I’m the first person to ever propose in history and then change my mind.
“Once all the cameras stop and you’re sitting down, you’ve got all those moments that you never really had … why should I carry through on that if it’s not how I’m actually feeling?”

He described comments made by Frost and fellow runner up Lisa Hyde as “sour grapes” and believes the media storm has “jumped the shark”.
“The show’s over. These are real lives now guys. I’m very, very happy with Louise.”
