A DAY before Oscar nominations, the candidates for the worst in film were announced with Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron and Nicolas Cage up for awards.
People reports that Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction is leading with the most Golden Raspberry Award (the Razzies) nominations, earning seven dishonourable nods.
Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas and The Legend of Hercules follow, with six each.

It has been 35 years since The Razzie Awards were first handed out awarding bad performances by the likes of Madonna (Shanghai Surprise, Who’s That Girl, Body of Evidence, The Next Best Thing and Swept Away), Faye Dunaway (Mommie Dearest), Sylvester Stallone (Rhinestone, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rocky IV, Rambo III and Stop! Or My Mum Will Shoot) and Ben Affleck (Daredevil, Gigli and Paycheck).

However this year the Razzies have introduced a Razzie Redeemer Award for those stars whose careers have bounced back — Affleck makes that list this year for Gone Girl, Jennifer Aniston is nominated for Cake and Keanu Reeves for John Wick.
