LaBeouf is no stranger to controversy.
He famously turned up to the Berlinale International Film Festival in a tuxedo with a paper bag on his head that said “I am not famous anymore”.

There was also the Sia clip for ‘Elastic Heart’ which featured interpretative dance in a cage with LaBeouf and 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler.
The singer later apologise for the perceived ‘perverted overtones’ of the clip, Rolling Stone reported.
